Fitness Pilates is a low impact form of exercise which focuses on improving the strength of the core supporting muscles.  It can help reshape, rebalance and realign your body.  Fitness Pilates is for all levels fitness and any age.

We are based in Duncraig WA, and hold classes at Glengarry Primary School in the new gym on Mon, Tues and Wed. We are accessible to neighbouring suburbs such as Padbury, Carine, Greenwood, Kingsley, Hillarys, Sorrento, Marmion and Hamersley.  Classes are affordable and with a block booking can work out a real bargain.  We keep the cost low to ensure fitness for all and to stop affordability stopping you getting in the best shape of your life.  It's not just for celebrities!

Celebrity Pilates lovers include: Elle Macpherson, Helen Mirren, David Beckham, Jessica Alba, Chris Judd and Jennifer Anniston.

Beckham was introduced to Pilates whilst on loan at AC Milan and says he is in his best shape in years due to an hour-long daily routine. The Italian giants insist all their players take up Pilates as it helps with balance and suppleness. He said: “I do an hour of Pilates a day. The medical set-up at Milan is fantastic and fitness-wise I am the best I have been for a long time.”

Who am I?

Picture

Mrs Jay Morris-Fowler MA PGCE BSc (hons).  That's me in the middle of my dad and husband after running my first half marathon, the Great North Run in the UK.  I am a Teacher of Physical Education by trade and have always loved teaching alternative activities to the kids, by alternative I mean different from the norm like Pilates, yoga, kick boxing even ballroom dancing.   I am a jack of all trades when it comes to sport, over the years I have trained in martial arts, netball, football, swimming, Pilates, yoga and long distance running.  I have always, some times without knowing used Pilates techniques and exercises to help with training and rehab for these other activities.  I have to say I enjoy teaching Pilates the most out of all the activities I have delivered over the years, partly because I can feel the benefits I personally get from it.  But also because participants who leave the class always seem so relaxed, stress free, stronger and taller.
